On September 6th, 2019, Dr. Gordon attended a one-day seminar in Munster, Indiana on Implants in the Esthetic Zone. The course was presented by Greggory Kinzer, D.D.S., M.S.D. The course was on “The use of treatment planning in the placement and restoring of dental implants. The emphasis was on the effects that the soft issue (gum tissue) and the bone supporting the soft tissue have on the appearance of the final implant restoration. Dr. Gordon attended a two-day seminar titled, Implants the Surgical/Restorative Connection, on December 8th and 9th. The course was presented by Dr. Gregg Kinser, a prosthodontist (right) and Dr. Jim Janakievski, a periodontist (left). The course discussed how to improve the results of dental implants.

Dr. Gordon believes that continuous education is absolutely necessary in dentistry and takes around 100 hours of continuing education per year. He received his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2002. He is active in several dental organizations having served as President of the Indiana Academy of General Dentistry and Peer Review Chairman for the Northwest Indiana Dental Association. He has been married to his wife, Pinki, for over 25 years. They have 2 sons.
